When veteran comedian Jack Holiday is found dead in a locked nuclear bunker inside a cliff, it looks like an open and shut case of suicide. However Jack had crippling arthritis and couldn't peel a banana let alone hold a gun to his head! But if it was murder....how did the murderer escape?

1.3 "THE RECONSTITUTED CORPSE"
Zola Zbzewski's plastic surgeon is found shot to death in his home, and she claims she knows nothing about it. The fact he would have ruined the launch of her new book gives her no motive at all! But when Zola turns up dead in Maddy's wardrobe, things start to look suspicious...

1.4 "NO TRACE OF TRACY"
Roy Pilgrim an old rocker from the 60's comes home from his run only to be knocked out and chained to his radiator. Meanwhile at four O'clock a fan of his arrives at his house and walks in. However at four O'clock all Roy saw was a frog enter and then leave...where did Tracy go...?

1.5 "THE HOUSE OF MONKEYS"
Elliot Strange is found murdered in a locked room, which has bars on the windows. As there was no way of the killer leaving without being seen, as his wife knocked on the door moments later where did they go...? Cue Jonathan Creek and Maddy Magellan....!

SEASON TWO:

2.1 "DANSE MACABRE"
A best selling author is shot in the heart in her daughter's home on Halloween. The killer appears to have vanished in a puff of smoke, but with Jonathan Creek to busy to help Maddy, she must solve the crime on her own.

2.2 "TIME WAITS FOR NORMAN"
Can a man be in two places at the same time..? Apparently Norman Stangerson can.....

2.3 "THE SCENTED ROOM"
Although Jonathan Creek knows how a painting worth a million pounds was apparently stolen by an invisible thief, he refuses to tell anyone!

2.4 "THE PROBLEM AT GALLOWS GATE - PART I"
Jonathan is lumbered with baby-sitting Adam's sister Kitty, and ends up taking her to a badger watch with Maddy. But Kitty ends up seeing more than just badgers in the woods....

2.5 "THE PROBLEM AT GALLOWS GATE - PART II"
How can a man who apparently committed suicide be seen killing a woman three weeks later..? Jonathan and Maddy investigate at Gallows Gate....

2.6 "MOTHER REDCAP"
When a judge receives a death threat due to a high profile case he receives round the clock protection. Despite this he is still killed, but how did the killer manage to get past the police...?

CHRISTMAS SPECIAL 1998: "BLACK CANARY"
The famous female Illusionist, Marella Carney - The Black Canary - is found dead. Her death is suspicious, and it seems even Jonathan Creek can't solve the mystery. Perhaps Detective Inspector Gideon Pryke can help solve the case....?

SEASON THREE:

3.1 "THE CURIOUS TALE OF MR SPEARFISH"
Lenny Spearfish is not having a good life, his marriage isn't great and life is generally on a downward spiral - until he agrees to sell his soul to the devil...

3.2 "THE EYES OF TIRESIAS"
Audrey Panguitch, a 73 year-old widow has a dream about a man being killed, a few days later it comes true - a tin of Goldfish food holds the key...

3.3 "THE OMEGA MAN"
Professor Lance Graumann - a leading authority on extra terrestrial phenomena invites Maddy to see his latest discovery - a perfectly preserved alien skeleton. However the American military have other plans and take the skeleton - however when they open the case at their military base it's no where to be found...

3.4 "GHOST'S FORGE"
Maddy's former newspaper colleague Mimi Trantor investigates an old mystery at a house called Ghost's Forge, but can she do it without the help of Jonathan Creek? And why were there five copies of The Grave Digger by Gerald Eastland hidden in the attic?

3.5 "MIRACLE IN CROOKED LANE"
A former 1970s sex kitten decides to spill the beans about her past love affairs. Then she has an accident and is left in a coma - so how come she was seen near a church making her peace with god. Enter a man in a duffel coat and shaggy hair with the answer....but this time it isn't Jonathan Creek.

3.6 "THE THREE GAMBLERS"
A man of pure evil is "disposed" of with the help of six bullets to the head - but has his corpse come back to life with revenge on its mind?
